    Introduction

    Xinyi Solar is the world’s leading photovoltaic(PV) glass manufacturer and listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 12 December 2013 (stock code: 00968.HK).
    The company specializes in the PV glass production and solar farm development and construction. Major products include ultra-clear patterned solar glass (raw and tempered), anti-reflective coating glass and back glass. It provides PV glass products to major PV module manufacturers in the world. Xinyi Solar has strategically developed several large-scale PV glass manufacturing facilities across both domestic and international markets, which are located in Wuhu City of Anhui Province, Beihai City of Guangxi Province, Zhangjiagang City of Jiangsu Province, and Malacca City in Malaysia, etc. As at 31 December 2025, total daily melting capacity is 21,400 tonnes.

    Xinyi Glass invested in the first solar raw glass production line.
    2009 year
    The first ultra-clear solar raw glass production line commenced production in Wuhu.
    2011 year
    The first solar raw glass production line commenced production in Tianjin.
    2012 year
    Completion of roof-top Golden Sun Projects at Wuhu represents XYS's first step towards downstream business.
    2013 year
    Xinyi Solar spun off from Xinyi Glass and listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
    2014 year
    The first utility-scale gound-mounted solar farm successfully connected to the grid.
    2016 year
    The first overseas production base commenced production in Malaysia.
    2019 year
    Xinyi Energy was spun off and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
    2020 year
    Beihai base in Guangxi commenced production.
    2021 year
    Xinyi Silicon was formed and Xinyi Solar was included in Hang Seng Index.
    2022 year
    The group had added 8 solar glass production lines (including cold repair), among which 3 production lines are in Wuhu Jiangbei, is the largest number in the industry.
    2023 year
    Grid-Connected Capacity of Utility-Scale Ground-Mounted Solar Farms exceeded 1GW.
